Robert A. Breedlove II (Bob), 64, of Louisville passed away the morning of May 9th, 2016 peacefully, with family at bedside. Born August 2nd, 1951 to Robert Sr. and Jenny Breedlove, he graduated from St. Stephen Martyr, Durrett High School, and was among the first class of Leadership Louisville.
He was an assembler at Ford Motor Company before being elected UAW Building Chairman and ultimately was appointed to the UAW International Staff, from which he was retired. Bob cherished his grandchildren, and was an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
Bob is survived by his mother, Mary Virginia (Jenny) Breedlove, two brothers, Jerry (Billie Jo) and Marty, son Bobby (Laura), daughter Bridgette, six grandchildren, Alexa, Taylor, Landen, Lanie, Grace, and Penny, two nephews, one niece, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will held from 2-8 PM Wednesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues.
