    Elbert Franklin Virts was born June 2, 1888 in Loudoun County Virginia to James Marion and Mary Elisabeth Leigh Virts. He married Myrtle Viola Riley on December 21, 1910. She was born March 2, 1896 in Loudoun County Virginia and died April 7, 1954 in Lovettsville, Virginia. Both are buried in Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery in Lovettsville Virginia.

    • Had four infant children who did live to be one year of age. Monroe made the coffens for the children and Raymond Virts helped burry them.

      Irene R. Coffman, 73, of Leesburg, died March 14 at Loudoun Hospital Center. Born April 14, 1914, in Lovettsville, she was the daughter of the late Elbert F. and Myrtle Riley Virts. Mrs. Coffman worked in the salesroom at Hill High Orchards in Round Hill from 1948 until 1955; in the old pants factory in Leesburg from 1946 until 1948; and at Loudoun Orchards. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Monroe E. Coffman, as sister, Catherine Virts of Lovettsville; a brother Charles Clifford Virts of Brunswick, Md. Interment was in the Mt. Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Lovettsville.
