      Orpha Covey Stover, 90, of Manassas, formerly of Beckley, W.Va., died Feb. 21, 1998, in Burke Health Care Center after a long illness. She was an active member of St. Mary's United Methodist Church, Beckley, and was active with volunteers at Pinecrest Hospital, Beckley. Surviving: daughters, Joycelyn Spencer of Beckley, Janet Shirey of Lewisburg, W.Va., Mary Ann Lagos and Madeline Snyder, both of Manassas; sister, Madeline R. McGraw of Glen Daniel, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's United Methodist Church, Beckley, with the Rev. Paul Burke officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley, and one hour prior to service at the church.
