Mr. Leroy Thomas Virts, 59 Charles Town, W.Va., formerly of Lovettsville, Va., died Friday, Aug. 14, in Charles Town. He was the husband of the late Jesse Virts. Born in Lovettsville and was the son of Elbert F. and Myrtle Riley Virts. He was employed as a laborer in the construction industry. Survivors include five daughters, Carolyn A. Cook of Brunswick, Susan Spencer of Haymarket, Va., and Anita Wiles, Marlene Virts and Linda Virts, all of Harpers Ferry W.Va.; three sons, Marvin Virts of Lovettsville, Va., Roy Lee Virts of Baltimore and Stanley Virts, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; two sisters, Irene Coffman, Leesburg, Va. and Catherine Virts, Lovettsville, Va.; two brothers, Ernest Virts, Paeonian Springs, Va., and Clifford Virts, Brunswick. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Lovettsville.
