    Ann Rebecca Mossburg Wirts
    Ann Rebecca Mossburg was born February 21, 1828 and died April 7, 1901 in Point of Rocks, Maryland. She married Jacob Joseph Wirts, Jr. on February 12, 1855. Jacob was born January 1, 1810 in Lovettsville, Virginia to Jacob Joseph and Louisa Brunner Wirtz, Sr. He died on April 2, 1882 in Frederick County, Virginia. Both are buried at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Point of Rocks, Maryland.

    • Frederick News, April 12, 1901

      The funeral of Anna R. Virts, took place yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. Services were held at the Lutheran church at Point of Rocks. Rev. W. L. Houser officiated. The pallbearers where E. W. Mercer, Charles H. Stunkle, O. T. Snouffer, Edward F. Fry, John P. Hickman and Towsend Comfer. Interment was made at St. Pauls cemetery. A. T. Rice and Sons were the funeral directors.
