Mrs. Deliah Virts Swope, widow of Joseph A. Swope, died at the home her son, George K. Swope, 112 Second Avenue, Brunswick, on Monday, aged 86 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Virts and is survived by her son, one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Huffer, Knoxville, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, two step-daughters, Mrs. Grace Meier, Washington, and Mrs. Edna Henderson, Takoma Park, a brother Charles Virts, Mechanicsburg, Ohio and a sister Mrs. Jennie Vicker, Lovettsville. Friends may call at the home of her son. Services will be held in Knoxville Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Martin Zinkle will officiate. Interment will be in the Reformed cemetery, Knoxville. C. H. Feete and Bro. Funeral directors.
