Jessie was born August 20, 1913 in Lovettsville, Virginia to Oscar Franklin and Mary Catherine Mann Virts. She died June 4, 2003 in Winchester, Virginia. She married Walter Howard Taft Frye on December 24, 1935. Walter was born July 18, 1908 in Lovettsville and died January 21, 1983 in Lovettsville. Both are buried in the Cemetery at the Mt. Olivet Methodist Church in Lovettsville.

Walter Howard Fyre, 74, of Lovettsville, a retired railroad employee with 22 years of service, died Jan. 21 at his home. Mr. Frye was born at Lovettsville, July 18, 1908, the son of John Frye and Catherine Jeanetta Frye. Surviving are his wife, Jessie Alice Frye and one sister, Glenna Arnold. Interment was in the Mt. Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Lovettsville
