Deborah Utterback Hammons, age 46, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Winchester Medical Center.
Deborah was born December 18, 1958 in Winchester, a daughter of Frances Boyer Beatty of Winchester and the late Lewis W. Utterback. A 1977 Graduate of James Wood High School, she had been a Licensed Beautician for over 20 years and was currently in Clothing Sales at Garbriel Brothers.
Deborah married James Douglas "Doug" Hammons June 14, 2001 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Surviving in addition to her husband and Mother are two sons: Zachary L. Utterback and Ritchie Parker, a step-son, Nathan Daniel Hammons, a step-daughter, Cierra Ann Hammons, all of Winchester. Two sisters: Linda Whittington of Frederick County and Sharon Clark of Shawneeland; a brother Steven Utterback of Star Tannery; her Step-father Dr. William Beatty of Winchester, and her granddaughter Mia Utterback of Winchester.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Omps Funeral Home Amherst Chapel with Rev. Hartley WIgfield officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at Omps Funeral Home Amherst Chapel.
In Deborah's last act of giving, she donated her organs so that others lives may be saved. Her body was creamted.
In lieu of flowers, Deborah's family is asking that each friend of hers, please spend time with their families. May God Bless each and every one of you.
