  Shenandoah Valley Herald, April 28, 1993 Margaret Welte Racey, 76, of Woodstock died Friday, April 23, at Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Racey was born April 5, 1918, in Utica N.Y. and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Welt, Sr. She was a sergeant in the Air Force during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. She was also a member of the American Red Cross, the National Audubon Society, the National Wildlife Society and Shenandoah Garden Club. She attended St. Luke Brethren Church. Mrs. Racey was the widow of the late Jennings H. Racey. Surviving are a niece and nephew. The funeral was conducted Monday, April 26, at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock by the Rev. David Benshoff. Burial in Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to any favorite charity.
