      MRS. PEARLY EDITH FARBER

      Pearly Edith Werts was born south of Russell in Lucas county, Iowa, September 1, 1882, and died at the home of her father, John Werts, at noon, June 2, 1908, aged 25 years, 9 months and 1 day with tuberculosis.

      She united with the Presbyterian church in 1901, of which she was a consistent member until death.

      She was united in marriage to G. C. Farber, September 7, 1904. To this union one son was born, Harold Dale, who lived only a week.

      In 1907, she went with her husband to Texas, returning March 20, 1908.

      She leaves to mourn her loss, a loving husband, father, sister and brother, besides numerous relatives and friends

      Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at ten o'clock Wednesday morning conducted by Rev. A. Soxe. Interment was in the Russell cemetery.
