      Doris Ashby Jacobs, 62, of Bluemont, who worked for many years as a secretary for Nichol's Hardware in Purcellville, died Dec. 2 in Loudoun Hospital Center at Lansdowne. She was born March 28, 1941, to the late Charles and Annie Ashby. Survivors include her husband, Garland Lee Jacobs of Bluemont; three sons, Charles Pierson of Bluemont, Jeff Jacobs of Leesburg, and Steve Jacobs of Manassas; a daughter, Patti Hausenfluck of Norfolk; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Jacobs was buried in Lovettsville Union Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 261, Hamilton, VA 20159. Arrangements were by Hall
