Mr. ROBERT M. TRITAPOE, 67, of 1638 Rohrersville Road, Knoxville, died Friday, Feb. 21, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. He was the husband of Dorothy Mullenix Tritapoe, whom he married July 3, 1947. Born May 30, 1929, at Garrett's Mill, he was the son of the late Robert Carmine and Gladys L. Waters Tritapoe.
He retired after 25 years as a forest ranger for the department of Natural Resources at Gambrill State Park. He was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren. He was also a member of Clopper-Michael Post 10, American Legion, Boonsboro.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Julia Rebecca Parody, Hagerstown; and Burgundy L. Tritapoe, Boonsboro; two sons, Robert Brian Tritapoe, Brownsville; and Dean Richard Tritapoe, Knoxville; and three grandchildren.
Services were held at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren; interment in Old Brownsville Cemetery; arrangements were by Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro.
