      Mrs. Marguerite E. Dixon

      Mrs. Marguerite E. Dixon, 86 of Knoxville, MD., passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Dixon.

      Born June 1, 1924 in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Everett Perry and Ada V. Baker Hoffman.

      Mrs. Dixon was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post #1136, American Legion Post #96, Pythian Sisters (Brunswick) and VFW Post #10421. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to Daybreak, embroidery work, and dancing.

      She is survived by a daughter Shirley Myers and husband Donald of Pleasantville and a son Charles Conner and companion Linda of WV, six grandchildren Jackie Woods, Tissie Fauble, Richard Myers, Karen Feketis, Jeannie Cole and Andi Carter, seven great grandchildren Casey Woods, Alexis Feketis, Daniel Myers, Heather Davoy, Terri Cole, Jeremy Myers, and Branda Fauble, six great great grandchildren, and a sister Betty Boyce of Brunswick. She was preceded in death by a daughter Virginia Bell, brothers and sisters Katherine McGlaughlin, Evelyn Mathews, Winifred Crowl, Raymond, Robert, Amos, Andy, George, John, Everet and Alvie Hoffman and a great grandchild Brandy Fauble.

      The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick, Thursday March 17, from 2 '96 4 and 7 '96 9 pm, where services will be held Friday, March 18, at 11:00 am with Rev. Tom Fralin officiating.

      Interment Park Heights Cemetery.
