William Patrick Peer, 54, of Gordonsville, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, in Charlottesville.
He was born on February 1, 1958, in Leesburg, a son of the late Donald Francis Peer and Jean Elaine Beard. Mr. Peer is survived by two daughters, Patricia Elaine Peer and Christina Marie Roberts; two sons, Joey Paul Peer and Jason Michael Peer, all of Kansas; four brothers, Michael Peer and wife, Amy, of Gordonsville, Donald Jay Peer and wife, Sandy, of Omaha, Nebraska, Richard Scott Hall of Surprise, Arizona, and Arthur Barry Hinkle of Mineral; seven sisters, Sandra Carroll of Staunton, Donna Jean Bonner of Myrtle Beach, R. Michelle Ryder of Gordonsville, Donna Marshall McFalls and husband, James, of Findlay, Ohio, Carol Jean-Elaine Smith and husband, William, of Orange, Frances Marie Cole and husband, Barry, of Sidney, New York, Bonnie Humphrey and husband, Ronald, of Gulf Port, Mississippi; three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville with Pastor Doug Wade officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 530 East Main Street, Suite 200, Richmond, VA 23219 or to a charity of your choice .
