      Mrs. Althea Emma Swartz, 73, of Lovettsville, Va., died Monday, Dec. 22, at her residence of 52 years. She was the wife of Elmer Swartz, her husband of 43 years, who died in September 1988. Born June 25, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Ada Riley Virts. Surviving are three sons, Russell Swartz and wife Debbie of Herndon, Va., and William E. Swartz, and James Swartz and wife Terri, all of Lovettsville; two grandchildren, Paul Swartz and wife Leyda of Chantilly, Va., and Katherine Loyd and husband Dennis of Blacksburg, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Madeline Swartz of Chantilly. Interment was in the Mt. Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Lovettsville, Va.
