    • Stephen A. Deaton, age 57, of Eaton, OH passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 14, 1954 to the late Donald and Mary Eileen (Riley) Deaton. Stephen was a 1973 graduate of Eaton High School; was employed at Miller Supermarket for 29 years and Neaton Auto Products for 14 years; and he enjoyed WWII History, anything John Deere related and movies.

      He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Betty J. (Smith) Deaton of Eaton, OH; daughters Elizabeth Ann (fianc? Michael Wacker) Deaton of Denver, CO and Leslie Eileen (companion Brandon Kirsch) of Eaton, OH; step-daughter Tonya (Doug) Werts of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Dalton and Sidney Werts of Eaton, OH; sisters Linda Hapner of Aimsworth, NE, Donna Elliott of Eaton, OH and Sarah Ward of Lewisburg, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved and faithful dog Hope.

      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Friends will be received from 5 ? 9 P.M. on Sunday, October 30, 20ll at the funeral home.
