Della Bessie Virts was born August 8, 1882 in Lovettsville, Virginia to James Marion and Mary Elisabeth Leigh Virts. She died September 22, 1939 in Lovettsville. She married Charles William Kidwell on August 22, 1901. He was born March 10, 1873 in Loudoun County Virginia and died November 22, 1953 in Brunswick, Maryland. Both are buried in the Mount Olivet Methodist Cemetery in Lovettsville, Virginia.

Charles William Kidwell died Nov. 22 at the age of 80 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Anderson, in Brunswick. A native of Loudoun County, he had been living with his daughter during the six months just preceding his death. He was a son of the late Thomas and Mary Prince Kidwell. In addition to Mrs. Anderson, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Elroy Grimes, Frederick; Mrs. Frank McFarland, Norfolk; and Mrs. Dorothy Specht of Philadelphia. Interment was in the Mt. Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Lovettsville.
