Mrs. Lulu Ann Arnold, 72, of near Lovettsville, died last Thursday in Loudoun Hospital. Widow of Charles W. Arnold, she was a daughter of late Henry and Rose Virts Nisewarner of near Lovettsville. Surviving are one son, Carroll Arnold and one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Pearson of near Lovettsville. Four sisters, Mrs. Paul Beagles, Hamilton, Mrs. Robert Joyner, Washington, Mrs. Henry Butler, Front Royal and Mrs. Harry S. Potterfield, Lovettsville. Mrs. Arnold and her son had operated a grocery store since the death of her husband, 13 years ago. Prior to that, she and her husband operated the sotre for 39 years. Form more than half a century Arnold's Store has been known in Lovettsville neighborhood, serving the surrounding countryside for a number of years as post office before there was rural delivery. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
