LEWIS C. BOLYARD, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, with his family at his side. Born in Grafton, W. Va., he was the son of the late Orian and Irene (Kitz-miller) Bolyard. The Army Veteran retired from General Electric after 41 1/2 years as an Electrical Engineer. He is survived by daughters, Vida Bolyard of Orlando, Fla. and Jan (Curt) Willen of Fort Wayne; son, Vic (Karen) Bolyard of Fort Wayne; brother, Kenneth Bolyard of Grafton, W. Va.; sisters, Alice Poling of Crossville, Tenn. and Mary Jennings of Thornton, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandsons. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 1/2 years, Marilyn J. Bolyard, in April of 2010; and a sister, Barbara Bolyard. Service is 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
