Helen Lee Wenner Dunson, 66, of Hamilton, died Jan. 4 at her residence.
Born Sept. 18, 1945, in Virginia, she was the daughter of Brice and Margaret Wenner. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Michael Dunson and two brothers Ray and Jimmy Wenner. She is survived by her son Keegan Dunson of Cranston, RI; daughter Jennifer Ward of Omaha, NE; adopted family members Brian and Georgia McGranahan of Bluemont; brother Tommy Wenner of Knoxville, MD; sister Sue Costello of Leesburg; and grandchildren Ty Dunson and Brice Ward.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 at Hall Funeral Home in Purcellville, VA. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Hamilton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter, 39820 Charles Town Pike, Waterford, VA 20197-1100.
