    • mma Luella Runner, 99, of 1127 Waller St. SE, died in a Salem nursing home after a brief illness.
      A native of Wisconsin, she moved to the Salem are 78 years ago. She was a member of Fruitland Evangelical United Brethren Church.
      She is survived by 91 descendants including a daughter, Dorothy Smith and a son, Carrol Runner, both of Salem, and 21 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
