    Ella Esther George was born October 4, 1861 in Loudoun County Virginia to Samuel Wilhelm and Elizabeth Catharina Grubb George. She married Robert Geary Johnson on November 8, 1890. He was born December 1, 1861 in Loudoun County Virginia and died November 8, 1942 in Lovettsville, Virginia. Both are buried in St. James Reformed Cemetery in Lovettsville.

    Esther Lamar Johnson was the daughter of Robert and Ella. She was born February 15, 1896 in Lovettsville, Virginia and died June 2, 1997 in Lovettsville, Virginia. She is buried in St. James Reformed Cemetery in Lovettsville.

    Columbia Isabelle Johnson was the daughter of Robert and Ella. She was born August 15, 1893 in Lovettsville, Virginia and died March 24, 1983 in Frederick, Maryland. She married Charles Lamar Wire on September 9, 1924. He was born August 22, 1893 in Lovettsville, Virginia and died September 11, 1953 in Lovettsville, Virginia. Both are buried in the Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, Virginia.

    Lena Leslie George was born September 25, 1880 in Lovettsville, Virginia to John Ebenezer and Orra Isabelle Virts George. She died on February 8, 1950 in Frederick, Maryland. She married Harry Yakey George. He was born December 22, 1874 in Loudoun County Virginia and died November 25, 1962 in Brunswick, Maryland. Both are buried in St. James Reformed Cemetery, Lovettsville.

    • News, Frederick, MD, December 11, 1957

      Mrs. Ella Esther Johnson, aged 96, of Lovettsville, widow of Robert G. Johnson, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning after illness of three days. She was a daughter of the late Samuel George and Eliza Grubb George and was a lifetime member of the United Church of Christ. Mrs. Johnson is survived by three daughters, Esther Johnson, Freida Johnson and Mrs. Columbia Wire, all living at home. Also surviving are one grandson, Robert Wire of Hyattstown and four great-granddaughters. The body is at the late home where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Richard W. Johnson will officiate at the services. Interment in the Old Reformed cemetery at Lovettsville. R E. Brown funeral director.
