    Ashland Clayton George was born May 28, 1852 in Lovettsville, Virginia to Samuel Wilhelm and Elizabeth Catharina Grubb George. He died December 30, 1932 in Loudoun County Virginia. He married Eleanor C. Johnson on April 15, 1875. She was born February 24, 1856 in Lovettsville and died September 24, 1922 in Loudoun County. Both are buried in St. James Reformed Cemetery in Lovettsville.
