      Mrs. Mabel C. Jones, 84, of 2922 E. Madison St., Baltimore, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Baltimore City Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William and Lissie Frye Grubb, and the wife of the late Robert Ashton Jones.

      She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Clark of Silver Spring; two sons, Charles R. Rose of Baltimore, and George T. Rose of Pottstown, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Myers of Knoxville and Mrs. Gertrude Phillips of Brunswick; one brother, Norman A. Grubb, Sykesville; a grandson, Charles F. Rose of Essex; five other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

      Friends may call at the Feete Funeral Home in Brunswick on Friday, Aug. 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27. Interment will be made in the Reformed Cemetery, Knoxville.
