      He was a graduate of the College of William and Mary and received his master's degree in education from George Washington University. He was the principal of Lovettsville Elementary school at the time of his death and had taught in the Loudoun County school systems for 30 years.

      Robert Arthur Myers, 60, principal of the Lovettsville Elementary School for the past 16 years, died Sunday in Frederick, Md., Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A Son of the late Paul W. And Blanche Frye Myers. Surviving are his wife, Eliza George Myers; his step-mother, Mrs. Winifred Myers; a half-brother, Paul Thomas Myers, and a half-sister, Mrs. Patricia Boothe. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
