Laban C. Grubb died at a sanitarium in Georgia, November 4, from infirmities of age. Mr. Grubb was the son of the late Ebenezer and Cecelia George Grubb of Lovettsville where he lived the early part of his life. His first wife was Mrs. Mary Esther Boger of Lovettsville, who died 24 years ago, and two sons of this union, Robert of Lothan ,Ala., and William of Georgia, survive. Mr. Grubb moved to about 38 years ago with his family to Tennessee, where he with his son, William, was engaged in manufacturing ice. Fifteen years ago they moved to Georgia. Besides his two sons, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Grubb; three sisters, Mrs. Dolly Compher of California, Mrs. Ann White of North Dakota, Mrs. Bertie Emich of Washington; two brothers, Jack of St. Louis and Harry of California. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
