      Dr. William G. Nixon, age 67, years, a member of an old and prominent Loudoun family and son of the late John W. and Leah Grubb Nixon, died at his home, near Wheatland Tuesday morning, April 2nd. Dr. Nixon was a student at the Baltimore Dental College and following his graduation practiced his profession at Hillsboro, until a few years ago, when, on account of failing health, he was forced to retire to private life. He was a life long member of the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, at Lovettsville, having served, for a number of years, as councilman. He was also Past Grand Master of the Lovettsville Masonic Lodge. Dr. Nixon was the last member of his immediate family, being survived only by one niece, Catherine Nixon Legard, wife P. F. Legard and two great nephews, Masters "Pete" and "Bob" Legard. Funeral services in charge of the Rev. A. F. Tobler were conducted at his late residence Thursday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment was in the Union Cemetery at Lovettsville.
