- Mrs. Mary Slyder Rudisill, wife of John M. Rudisill, Springfield Twp., died of a heart attack while on vacation at Herald Harbor, MD, on Sunday afternoon, August 22, 1937, at 4:30 0'clock, aged 52 years 7 months.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Walter D. and Ellsworth S., both of Glen Rock; her mother, Mrs. John Slyder, and a sister Mrs. C.O. Goodling, both of Seven Valleys; and a brother C. Fredrick Slyder, New Freedom.
Mrs. Rudisill was a faithful member of Friedensaal's church and its organizations, having served fro many years as Primary Department teacher and pianist of the Sunday School and treasurer of the Women's Missionary Society.
The funeral was held at the late home of the deceased in Springfield Twp. Wednesday August 25, 1937, at 2p.m., with her pastor, the Rev. S. H. Culler, officiating. Fourteen members of Rainbow Temple, Pythian Sisters, of Seven Valleys, served as honorary pallbearers.
Interment was made in Mount Prospect Cemetery, Seven Valleys.
