      George W. "Bud" Hartsell, 77, of Reedsville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at home. He was born June 21, 1923, son of the late French and Pearl E. Watson Hartsell. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1987 from the West Virginia Division of Highways. He is survived by his wife, Alice B. Hartsell; two sons, George E. Hartsell, of Georgia, and David P. Hartsell, of Reedsville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son William C. Hartsell, in 1986. Friends may call at Waldeck Funeral Home, in Masontown, from 7-9 p.m. Friday, and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, with Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiating. Burial will be in Reedsville Memorial Park at Reedsville. Military rites will be conducted at graveside. Donations: Hospice Care Corp., P.O. Box 760, Arthurdale, WV 26520.
