Miss Sarah Alice Koontz, 73, of St. Louisville, died Sunday morning at 315 o'clock in the home of her sister Mrs. J. K. McKelvey in Chatham, after a few weeks illness. Her death resulted from heart trouble. Miss Koontz was taken ill while caring for her sister Mrs. McKelvey who is seriously ill.
She was born in Licking County near Saint Louisville, Dec. 6, 1861, the daughter of Henry and Mary Koontz. Besides Mrs. McKelvey she leaves two other sisters Mrs. A.P. Riley and Mrs. JW. Riley, all north of the city. Funeral services will be held in St. Paul's Lutheran church in Saint Louisville Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 and burial will be made in Wilson cemetery. Reverend Bruce Kries will officiate. Funeral director, Householder Company.
