      A. Virginia Jones, 82, who volunteered with the PTA at Woodfield Elementary School in Damascus, Va., died of congestive heart failure Feb. 10 in the Wilson Health Center in Gaithersburg. Mrs. Jones was a native of Washington and a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She worked at The Washington Post circulation office in the 1940s. Her marriage to Thornton Wilt ended in divorce. Her second husband, Charles E. Jones, died in 1993. Survivors include a son from her first marriage, Richard Wilt of Livermore, Calif.; two sons from her second marriage, Robert C. Jones of Frederick and Ronald E. Jones of Gaithersburg; a brother, George T. Virts of Gaithersburg; and a granddaughter.
