CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Kathryn Ann Petrucci, 84, of Charles Town, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at her home.
Born Jan. 18, 1924, in Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Henry Forest Darr and Mary Furtney Darr.
Her husband, Louis D. Petrucci, died in 1987.
She owned and operated Millville Grocery Store for 20 years.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Gail Smallwood of Leetown, W.Va.; one son, Dale Petrucci of Kearneysville, W.Va.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home in Charles Town. Chaplain Doug Knupp will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, W.Va.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
