  Mrs William (Flynn) Matheny, 68, wife of William V. Matheny, died yesterday in Delaware Hospital at Wilmington, where she had been a patient three weeks. Mrs. Matheny is a former resident of Cumberland, and had been residing with her son, Edward F. Spear, Mill Creek Road, Hochessin, Del. Mrs. Matheny, who is a native of Maryland, also is survived by a daughter Mrs. T. Keith Boone, Dexter, Kan.: two sisters, Mrs Mary Bowman, College Park, and Mrs. Stanley Knock Sr., Washington: six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Chandler Funeral Home, Wilmington, where services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. by Rev. Stanley F. Knock Jr., a nephew. Burial also will be held there.
