Beverly Franklin, 63, of Center Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willard Burress and Bertha Lee Watson Burress, was born in Franklin County March 9, 1931, and died at 7:49 p.m., Friday, April 15, 1994, in Louisville after an illness. She was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church and an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for 45 years. Franklin is survived by two sons and two daughters, Keith Edward Franklin Jr., Tony Franklin, Barbara Bloyd, and Tammy Underwood, all of Campbellsville; six granddaughters and three grandsons, Angela Hensley of Bristol, Tenn., Andrea Franklin of Louisville, T. J. Franklin of Naples, Fla., Josh Bloyd of Richmond, and Cory Bloyd, Allison Franklin, Alexanderia Franklin, Amanda Thompson, and Ashley Thompson, all of Campbellsville; and one brother, Bill Burress of Campbellsville. Funeral was at 1 p.m., Monday, April 18 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Bro. Paul W. Patton and Bro. Harlan Williams officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Coop, David Wilson, Marvin Newton, Harlan Williams, Clyde Noel, and Nick Hazel. Honorary pallbearers were Leroy Knifley, Travis Knifley, Wayne Buckner, Rodney Cox, Russell Cox, Randy Watson, and George Gumm.
