| William Trigg Verts and Jeannette Poindexter William Trigg Verts was born October 24, 1903 in Nelson, Missouri to Isaac Mortimer and Minnie Emma Tucker Verts. He died April 30, 1936 in Nelson. He married Jeannette Poindexter on December 30, 1925. She was born November 27, 1903 and died February 14, 1995. Both are buried Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Missouri.

W. Trigg Verts of Nelson, Mo., died at St. Joseph hospital Thursday afternoon at 1:30, after a serious illness of about three weeks. He had been in failing health for several years but became worse a month ago and was brought to the hospital a few days later. He was associated with his father I. M. Verts in the mercantile business in Nelson. On December 30, 1925 he was married to Miss Jeannetta Poindexter. To this union one son, B. J. was born, who with the widow survives. He also leaves his father and mother Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Verts, of Nelson, and four brothers, Jerome S., Ned Lee, Shuck Tucker, and Virgil, all of the Nelson community. He was born in Nelson, Mo., October 24, 1903, and spent his entire life there. Funeral services will be held at the Nelson Baptist Church, Saturday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by the Rev. W. C. Brodersen, in charge of the Geodman & Boller Burial will be in the Nelson cemetery.
