    Jessie was born August 20, 1913 in Lovettsville, Virginia to Oscar Franklin and Mary Catherine Mann Virts. She died June 4, 2003 in Winchester, Virginia. She married Walter Howard Taft Frye on December 24, 1935. Walter was born July 18, 1908 in Lovettsville and died January 21, 1983 in Lovettsville. Both are buried in the Cemetery at the Mt. Olivet Methodist Church in Lovettsville.

      Jessie A. Frye, 89, of Goldenrod Road, Winchester, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Frye was born Aug. 20, 1913, in Lovettsville, the daughter of Oscar and Mary Mann Virts. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Lovettsville. She married Walter Frye in 1934, in Waterford. Mr. Frye died in 1983. Surviving is a nephew, Gary Virts, with whom she lived. A funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Lovettesville, with the Rev. Jerry Weigel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
