Mary Lillian Beavin Dockemeyer, 95, of The Carmel Home, Owensboro, died there Tuesday, April 16, 1996. She was born in Daviess County, had been a homemaker and was a member of SS. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Her husband, Bernard Joseph Dockemeyer, died Feb. 13, 1975. A son, James Louis Dockemeyer, died in 1976; and daughter, Theresa Geraldine Head, died in 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Robert Dockemeyer of Kokomo, Ind., and Charles Anthony Dockemeyer of Owensboro; seven daughters, Anna Janisse Warren and Juanita Faye May, both of St. Joseph, Rose Mary Thompson of Melborne, Fla., Margaret Ann Kelley and Virginia Maye Hayden, both of Owensboro, and Mary Bernardine Edwards and Carolyn Sue Dant, both of Calhoun; 64 grandchildren; 112 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, St. Joseph. Burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, Owensboro, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday.
