Mary Eunice Belton Talley, 82, of Decatur died 10:20 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 26, 1998) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorials: Rock Springs Church of God Building Fund.
Mrs. Talley was born in Casey Creek, Ky., the daughter of Oscar Lee and Della May Ross Gribbins. She was a member of Rock Springs Church of God. Prior to her retirement she worked in the office of Newman's Department Store. She married Doyle Talley in Decatur on April 6, 1985.
Surviving are her husband; son, Sonny Belton and wife Dody of Decatur; daughters, Joanne Page and husband Donald of Decatur; Janice Canull Yoder and husband Ruben of Arthur; Donna Bly and husband Bob of Springfield; stepdaughters, Deletta Perry of Park Forest; Kathy McLean and husband John of North Carolina; stepsons, Keith Talley and wife Jackie of Decatur; William George Borbely and wife Bobbi of Vandalia; brother, Eugene Gribbins and wife Mary of Decatur; sister, Virginia Maloney of Fredrick, Md., 13 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-stepgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Wallace Belton, sister, Claria Laverne Hyland, stepdaughters, Ruth Yochum and Helen Miller, one grandson and one stepgrandson.
