  Kansas City Star, May 27, 1993 Stella Irene McCormick, 78, Kansas City in Clay County, died May 25, 1993, at North Kansas City Hospital. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Salvation Army. Mrs. McCormick was born in Brazoria, Texas, and moved to this area in 1940. She was a registered nurse before she retired. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of North Kansas City. She graduated from the Christ's Hospital School of Nursing, Topeka. Survivors include her husband, Dr. James E. McCormick of the home; two sons, David M. McCormick, Chimayo, N.M., and Thomas E. McCormick, Chicago; a sister, Irene Jarvis, St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
