Athol B. Settle, 97, Lee's Summit, died Aug. 29, 1994, at the home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Langsford-Cox Chapel; burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Mrs. Settle was born in Omaha, Neb., and lived in this area much of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lee's Summit. Her husband, Gayle W.B. Settle, died in 1961. Survivors include two daughters, Thola D. Daniels, Denver, and Shirley S. Turk, Fort Myers, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
