Blue Ridge Herald, September 26, 1946. Mrs. Laura Virginia Virts, 85,
a former school teacher, died at the home of a niece in Martinsburg on September 20. She was the wife of the late John Henry Virts, a Leesburg mail carrier. A teacher for many years in Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia. She is survived by one sister. Interment was in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
