      Doris Louise Virts, 85, who lived in Paeonian Springs for 40 years, died Oct. 28 in Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg. She was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Virginia to the late George and Lula Cooper. Mrs. Virts lived in Paeonian Springs for 40 years. She was married to the late Ernest Franklin Virts. She was predeceased by their son Eugene Virts. Survivors include one son, Richard Virts of Leesburg; four daughters, Ellen Gant of Louisa, Mary Virginia Sudduth of Hamilton, Peggy Virts of Leesburg, and Betty Davidson of Lexington, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were Friday at Hall Funeral Home in Purcellville, with the Rev. Frances Stoll officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery in Lovettsville. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 261, Hamilton, VA 20159.
