  Nelson Gazette, April 18, 1963 Loyd Brinton, 35, of Deshler was killed in a one-car accident on Highway 136, four miles east of Deshler, soon after midnight Saturday. It is theorized that he dozed at the wheel, his car rolling into a ditch at the roadside.Brinton was born at Beatrice and had lived in Deshler for several years. He was dead when the accident was discovered by a passerby.He leaves his wife, one son and three step-daughters.Services were held at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. E.F. Janssen officiating at 10 a.m., Tuesday and at the Griffith Chapel in Beatrice at 2 p.m. Interment was at Beatrice.
