      Lewis William Utterback, Jr., age 58 of Rose Hill Nursing Home, Berryville and formerly of Star Tannery died Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at the nursing home. Mr. Utterback was born May 23, 1933 in Frederick County, a son of the late Lewis William and Gladys Stine Utterback. He was a retire tool maker for Abex, Inc. of Winchester, a member of Gravel Springs Lutheran Church, Strasburg Moose Lodge No. 403 and was a verteran of the United States Army and the Air Force Reserves. Surviving are three daughters, Linda Whittington, Deborah Hammons and Sharon Clark all of Winchester; his son Steven Utterback of Star Tannery; his sister, Sadie Ryan of Strasburg and Judy Utterback Jenkins, three brothers Doug, Charles and Thomas Utterback. Interment will be in Gravel Springs Cemetery.
