Mrs. Marjorie Irene Shillingburg, 50, wife of Austin A. Shillingburg of Woodstock, died Saturday, March 19, at 2:30 p.m., in Shenandoah Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She was born at Mt. Olive (Shenandoah County) December 22, 1900 a daughter of Jacob W. and Amy Headley Miller. Mrs. Shillingburg was a member of the Mt. Olive Methodist Church. She was married to Mr. Shillingburg on April 8, 1933. Survivors are her husband and the following sons and daughters; Frank Wilson Shillingburg, Woodstock, Miss Doris Elizabeth Shillingburg, a student at Madison College, Harrisonburg, Teddy Lee Shillingburg, Toms Brook, Miss Dorothy Ann Shillingburg at home and Mrs. Charlotte Louise Riffey of Strasburg. Also two brothers and one sister; Joe Miller, Maurertown , Fred Miller, Alexandria, and Mrs. Dora Shacklett, Alexandria, and three grandsons. A sister, Mrs. Harvey (Indus) Hamman, died about one year ago. The body rests at Dellinger's Chapel in Woodstock, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Holtzman Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Harrisville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Hollingworth, B. G. Wenger, Jr., Rheese Hottle, Edward Wine, Ernest Ryman and J.E. Sager. The family request that flowers be omitted and contributions in memory of the deceased may be given to the heart of cancer fund.
