Betty was born November 3, 1925 in Brunswick, MD. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Jennie Hall Thompson and the wife of the late Glenn L. Grove for 74 years. Betty was a member of Rosemont Alliance Church, Knoxville, MD where she was a dedicated Sunday School teacher for more than 30 years. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Susie Fravel, Irene Harper, Helen Eshbaugh and Theresa Shepherd, as well as her brother, "Bud" Thompson. She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her daughter and son-in-law Marsha and Jimmy Riley of Lovettsville, her grandson Chris Riley, granddaughter Kristin Riley both of Lovettsville and a very special nephew Kenny Eshbaugh of Boonsboro, MD. Betty is also survived by sisters in law Elaine Jones and Norma Stewart both of Ohio.
