      Doris Eldridge Keener, 81, of 13210 Fairfax Road, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1998, at Washington County Hospital. Born Nov. 2, 1916, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence V. and Lillie May Ridenour Eldridge Sr. She was a 1934 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She attended Catawba College. She graduated from Towson State College in 1938. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. She was a member of Fountain Head Country Club; and Town and Country Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Russell B. Keener of Hagerstown; a daughter, Lyn K. Totty of Atlanta; three sons, Timothy B. Keener, Stuart B. Keener and Keith B. Keener, all of Hagerstown, a brother Clarence V. Eldridge, Jr. of Hagerstown; and two grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. The viewing will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 108 E. Franklin St., Hagerstown, Md. 21740.
