  Frederick News, August 8, 1962 Mrs. Alma Maud Mentzer, 76, died at her home in Lovettsville Monday. She was a daughter of the late William and Alice Shumaker Virts. Surviving is one daughter, Miss Mae Mentzer, at home; two sons, George and Stanley, both of Lovettsville; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Elbert J. Virts, Lovettsville. Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m., from the Brown Funeral Home in Lovettsville. Rev. Stanley Brown will officiate, and interment will be in the Union Cemetery.
