    Minnie Bell Riley Virts
    Minnie Bell Riley was born September 26, 1870 in Loudoun County Virginia and died December 14, 1961 in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. She married Lewis Joseph Virts on March 20, 1889. Lewis was born July 4, 1869 in Lovettsville, Virginia to Joseph Lewis and Sarah A. Long Virts. He died January 30, 1934 in Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia. Both are buried in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, West Virginia.

      Mrs. Minnie, a resident of Shenandoah Junction died on Thursday night in the Locust Grove Pentecostal Rest Home in Bolivar, aged 91 years.

      She was a daughter of the late James and Martha Long Riley. She was born in Loudoun county, hear Harpers Ferry, where se lived until she was 17 years old. Since that time she has lived in Jefferson County.

      She was the widow of L. J. Virts. She is survived by the following children, Mrs. Charles Snider, of Shenandoah Junction; Mrs. Shirley Alger, Charles Town and Garland L. Virts, of Charles Town; one sister, Mrs. Charles Harding, of Mansfield, Ohio.

      Funeral services were conducted at the Smith and Strider Funeral Home, Charles Town, at 2 o'clock on Monday, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Scholl, of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment was made in the Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
