      Mr. David Ray Mohler, 54, of 19517 Garretts Mill Road, Knoxville, died Saturday, April 20, at his home.

      He was the husband of Patsy Tritapoe Mohler, his wife of 33 years.

      Born Oct. 26, 1947, in Point of Rocks, he was a son of Ruth Winebrenner Mohler of Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro, and the late Horace Raymond Mohler.

      Mr. Mohler was a 1965 graduate of Boonsboro High School and graduated from Frederick Community College with an associate's degree.

      He was employed as an engineer for the B&O Railroad for 10 years and, at the time of his death, was employed by the Loudoun County school board as transportation supervisor in Leesburg, Va.

      Mr. Mohler was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Air Force.

      He was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren, Brownsville.

      Mr. Mohler was associated with the Brunswick Little League for 18 years. He was a member of Fervency Lodge 200 A.F.&A. Masons in Point of Rocks.

      Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are one son, Christopher R. Mohler of Knoxville; two brothers, Evan E. Mohler of Lovettsville, Va., and Wayne Mohler of Brunswick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

      Mr. Mohler will also be remembered by his friends Bob and Anne Backover.

      Mr. Mohler was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Lee Hope and Janet Mohler.

      The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.

      Visitation will also be held from 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, until funeral services begin at 2 p.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren, Brownsville. The Rev. Daniel M. Johnson will officiate.

      Interment will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery.
